Moonlight creates a distinctive silver glow across the White Rann, making Full Moon periods especially popular. Demand is higher during these dates, so we recommend booking early and checking availability and rates in advance.
Dark Moon periods offer darker skies and a different desert atmosphere, particularly for travellers interested in stargazing. The White Rann glows purely with starlight on these nights.
A peak season surcharge applies from one day prior to each Full Moon date, and rates are also higher during Diwali and Christmas-New Year week. See our packages page for the season-wise tariff breakdown.
